Claims is excited to announce Misty Hamilton as employee of the month! Misty joined the claims team in May 2008 after six years spent in loan servicing, client support and customer care. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her previous experiences and serves as an invaluable resource for her team. Misty also built many relationships while in other departments and many of her co-workers count on her expertise and willingness to help in a pinch.
 
Misty is a great team player and is always willing to lend a hand and take on any project that comes her way. Just this year, Misty played a key part in reducing the average delinquency date in which claims are filed; she saw a more efficient way to handle this report and didn't waste any time implementing the improvement. Misty also tackled a team leader project and delivered results well before the deadline. She's not afraid to try new ideas and sets a great example of finding a better way every day.
 
Misty was also selected as a member of the 2009 Vision One class due to her demonstrated potential for leadership and professional growth. In addition to her usual responsibilities in claims, she has worked on the Kaizen idea campaign and is currently organizing lunch and learn opportunities for the third quarter healthy living project.
 
Misty has a wonderful attitude and displays all of those ED qualities that we look for in an employee - she is caring, compassionate, smiling and energetic! She is always one of the first to volunteer for activities, from crazy dress up days to Bowling for Kids' Sake, and she strives always to do the right thing for our customers and her co-workers.
