Edfinancial Customer Care Celebrates Earth Day!

The Customer Care Inbound Team at Edfinancial Services celebrated Earth Day 2009 in true, green fashion.  The Call Center wore green shirts in honor of the day and brought in recyclable cans, bottles, and paper from home which we delivered to Single Stream Recycling in Oak Ridge, TN.  Over 25 employees participated in the program and contributed somewhere between 400 and 500 pounds of material.  Call Center Manager Michael Hackworth hopes that next year more departments will join in the fun. 

Here’s a call to arms!  Next year, let’s see who can be the greenest!  On Earth Day 2010, we'll have a contest to see which department can collect the most recyclables!
