Edfinancial Services Announces More Promotions

Knoxville, TN – Edfinancial Services has promoted several managers to assistant vice president effective immediately. These employees have demonstrated leadership potential and are integral to the company’s success.
Jan Blanton is assistant vice president and consolidation manager, supervising 20 loan consolidation specialists. Before joining Edfinancial Services in June 2004, Blanton was marketing director for Jenny Pruitt & Associates in Atlanta for five years.
Stacey Evans is assistant vice president for training and development. She facilitates the personal and professional development of all corporate employees. Evans has been with Edfinancial Services for 10 years, working in marketing as well as human resources.
Gary Lapointe is assistant vice president, ebusiness solutions. He manages the software development group and is responsible for maintaining websites and online services company wide. Before joining Edfinancial Services three years ago, he was director of engineering for BiT Group, a software development company based in Boston, MA.
Brandi Matson is assistant vice president for operational training. She oversees all technical training for new and existing employees. Matson has extensive call center experience beyond the financial aid industry, working with Philips Consumer Electronics and Talbots before joining Edfinancial three years ago.
Eric Stewart, CPA, is assistant vice president and controller for Edfinancial Services. As such, he manages the general accounting functions for the corporation. Stewart is also responsible for the development, documentation and maintenance of financial and accounting policies and procedures. He joined the company two years ago.
Edfinancial Services is currently expanding its Knoxville headquarters in Windsor Square to accommodate over 350 employees, with satellite servicing centers in Little Rock, AR and Jacksonville, FL.
