Bobbie McClain Joins Edfinancial Services

Knoxville, TN – National student loan servicer, Edfinancial Services, welcomes Bobbie McClain as assistant vice president of loan operations. Formerly director of student financial assistance at the University of Tennessee at Martin, McClain brings a wealth of industry experience and technical expertise to her new position. She will report directly to John Farinella, executive vice president and chief operating officer.

“Bobbie has worked closely with our people and products for the past eight years,” says Farinella. “She is educated, mature, experienced and technical and will be an invaluable addition to our management team.”

McClain was at U.T. Martin for almost 15 years. During that time she was responsible for all federal and state compliance and controls. She worked with the Department of Education and TSAC, supervised staff, and maintained all aspects of the applicable electronic environments associated with the delivery of financial aid. McClain also served as computer liaison between the financial aid office and the computer center and was an adjunct instructor of finance.

McClain holds a bachelor’s degree in business education and an MBA, with concentrations in marketing, management, finance, economics and accounting from U.T. Martin.
